Rabbi Zev Meir Friedman is Rosh HaMesivta of Rambam Mesivta of Lawrence. He is noted for his leadership and activism on behalf of Jewish causes, leading demonstrations against former Nazis residing in the US, French acquiescence to anti-Semitism, Saudi support of terror, and supports a myriad of causes on behalf of Medinat Yisrael.

His continued efforts and protesting against Jakiw Palij, the last Nazi war criminal in the United States resulted in Palij’s deportation to Germany.

These efforts were recognized By the Department of Justice in a ceremony at the White House where they declared,“Deserving of special mention are several generations of high school students at Rambam Mesivta in Lawrence, Long Island, under the leadership of their revered  teacher, Rabbi Zev Friedman, himself a child of Holocaust virus, never stopped crying out publicly for justice in this case.” Rabbi Friedman is a noted lecturer and Maggid Shiur in the Five Towns and has served as a scholar in residence across the United States, Europe and Israel.

Rabbi Friedman received his rabbinic ordination at Yeshiva Bnei Torah and his D.P.M. (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, after graduating Brooklyn College.
