Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Kosherica Passover program?
A Kosherica Passover program is a curated, all-inclusive holiday experience built around a major resort, where guests celebrate Pesach in a beautiful, relaxing environment. Instead of hosting Seders at home, Kosherica brings together families and individuals for a high-end retreat, combining traditional observance with resort luxury. The program includes accommodations, kosher-for-Passover meals, entertainment, daily prayer services, thought-provoking lectures and educational shiurim. It’s designed to be a beautiful and stress-free way to spend a beautiful Passover with your family. Destinations range from tropical resorts like Atlantis in the Bahamas to high-end resorts in Florida and Arizona.
What makes Kosherica unique?
Kosherica stands out for its blend of luxury, strict kosher supervision, and nonstop programming. Our Passover programs are held at world-class resorts — for example, Atlantis Paradise Island — which offer everything from water parks to marine habitats. At the same time, Kosherica brings in master chefs and high end Caterers to create gourmet glatt kosher Passover cuisine under rigorous supervision. On top of that, each day is filled with engaging lectures, spiritual experiences, shows, a sought-after day camp and unbelievable entertainment — a full holiday schedule. Because of all this, it’s both deeply meaningful and genuinely relaxing.
Are the programs fully kosher?
Yes — Kosherica’s Passover programs are fully kosher, following glatt kosher standards using only the most reputable Kashrut authorities. The company ensures strict adherence to kosher laws throughout its culinary operations, including all meals and special food stations. This makes it a reliable choice for families who want a completely kosher, high-quality Passover experience.
What kind of food is served?
The food is gourmet, high end and incredibly varied. At Atlantis, Kosherica runs lavish breakfast and lunch buffets with stations like omelets, sushi, salads, and grilled fish. They also host daily afternoon BBQs using a state-of-the-art smoker and have elegant evening “tea rooms” with pastries, chocolates, and other Passover treats. On festival nights they offer multi-course dinners crafted by master chefs, ensuring both tradition and creativity.
Are Seders included?
Yes, Seders are included as a central part of the program. Most guests op to conduct their own Seder at their table with just their families. However, guests can join a shared or “communal” Seder that is led by one of our incredible Scholars-in-Residence. The setting is designed to be uplifting, with song, reflection, and meaningful traditions woven into the experience.
Can the Seder be customized?
At Kosherica, we aim to accommodate special dietary needs or preferences, and our team prioritizes guests’ religious observances. Depending on the resort and program, there may be room for smaller table arrangements, particular prayer customs and other such preferences. You’d likely need to coordinate in advance with Kosherica’s event team to discuss specific needs.
Is there a kids’ program?
Yes — Kosherica places a strong emphasis on family and has the most amazing, fun non-stop programs for children of all ages. At all of our programs you can find a dedicated day camp for kids with trained counselors who are there to ensure your child never wants to leave! They also provide infant care programs so even the youngest guests are looked after in a safe, nurturing environment. For teens, there’s tailored programming with age-appropriate activities and opportunities for social connection.
What activities are available for kids?
The children’s program is very rich: kids can enjoy arts and crafts, games, sports, and outdoor adventures. At Atlantis, the camp is especially robust, leveraging the resort’s water park and pools. Counselors maintain a high child-to-staff ratio, creating a supportive and fun environment. In addition, there are evening shows for kids—magicians, acrobats, DJ dance parties—to keep them engaged even after dark and to give Mom and Dad a little extra time relaxing!
Is there entertainment at night?
Most definitely! Kosherica’s Passover programs are known for “non-stop programming.” Nights are filled with live music, DJs, comedians, hypnotists, impersonators, and more. In past years, they have also featured theme nights, Circus Acts, and even fire & ice shows. This ensures that every evening is lively and engaging — not just for adults but for families too.
What amenities do the resorts have?
The resorts Kosherica partners with are top-tier. For example, Atlantis offers massive water parks, marine habitats, spas, golf, tennis, and shopping. The Saddlebrook Resort, another Kosherica option, has two golf courses, 45 tennis courts, bike trails, large pools, and walking paths through its vast grounds. The Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs has stunning hiking and biking paths, 8 gorgeous pool and a 138-foot waterslide! These amenities make it easy to relax, explore, or enjoy active recreation during the holiday.
When should I book?
It’s wise to book as early as possible. Kosherica’s Passover programs are popular and tend to fill up quickly, especially for resorts like Atlantis. Their “5 Steps to Picking Your Perfect Passover Program” guide suggests choosing your location and then locking in your hotel, because accommodations and room types are limited. Also, there are deposit and cancellation policies, so early booking gives you more flexibility and security.
What’s included?
The program price includes accommodations, all kosher-for-Passover meals, Seders, daily activities, kids’ and teen programming, lectures, classes, evening entertainment, and access to resort amenities. This “all-in” structure gives guests peace of mind: once you arrive, most of your holiday needs are covered.
What is not included?
While many things are covered, not every optional activity is included: special excursions, off-site trips, or specific resort add-ons may cost extra. According to their terms, “special activities and programs … are strictly optional and attended at the discretion of the guest.” Also, travel to and from the resort (flights, transfers) is not included in the program cost.
Should I buy travel insurance?
Yes — Kosherica strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance, especially a “Cancel for Any Reason” policy. Their own terms note that while they arrange many services, they are not liable for flight delays, cancellations, or other unforeseen disruptions. Travel insurance helps protect both your program cost and your flights.
Is the program accessible?
While Kosherica doesn’t explicitly detail accessibility for every resort on its site, the hotels they partner with are major luxury resorts with broad amenity offerings. Given the scale and reputation of places like Atlantis or Saddlebrook, it’s likely they have infrastructure for guests with mobility needs. If accessibility is a concern, you should contact Kosherica directly to ask about accessible room options, mobility assistance, or other accommodations.
Is babysitting available?
Yes —in-room babysitting (in the evenings) can be available. For very young children, there’s also infant care as part of Kosherica’s structured kids’ programs. Additionally, at certain Resorts, Kosherica can provide information on certified local Nanny agencies. This setup gives parents opportunities for rest or adult-only time.
Is there security?
Yes – strong security being part of the program. Kosherica works with private security companies along with each Resort to ensure the safety of its guests throughout their stay.
How is the food quality?
The food quality receives very high praise. Kosherica employs master chefs and top level Caterers to lead its kosher-for-Passover menus, offering globally inspired dishes, action stations, BBQs, tea rooms, and elegant dinners. Their chefs and Caterers are well-known, and the food is not just traditional but creative — people repeatedly comment that the culinary experience is one of the highlights of the trip.
Are non-Jewish spouses welcome?
Yes. Kosherica’s programs are family-friendly and open to all guests, including non-Jewish spouses. The focus is on vacation, community, and shared holiday experience, and they welcome families, couples, and individuals regardless of background, as long as the kosher and religious norms of the program are respected.
How do I book?
To book, you can go through Kosherica’s website — choose your preferred resort (e.g., Atlantis, Saddlebrook, PGA, or others) from their Passover Hotel Programs page. Once you’ve picked a location, you’ll typically pay a deposit in order to lock in your reservation. You’ll need to sign their terms and make sure you understand cancellation policies. For help, you can call Kosherica at 877-724-5567 (or their international number) to speak with their team and finalize your reservation.
