Rabbi Avi Bossewitch grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He attended Yeshiva University where he received his BS in Computers, Masters in Jewish Educational Leadership, and Smicha. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Jewish Educational Leadership and Innovation at the Azrieli Graduate School with a focus on positive psychology. Rabbi Bossewitch began his career as a teaching fellow at the Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik Institute, during which time his passion was kindled for Rabbi Soloveitchik’s teachings. After serving as the inaugural Middle School Director at the Maimonides School, Rabbi Bossewitch joined the Hebrew Academy (RASG) of Miami as the inaugural Dean of Academics & Innovation. His continued professional training includes educational leadership and innovation, 21st century learning models, and partnering with global curriculum leaders. Rabbi Bossewitch is a certified trainer in the Fierce™ communication and leadership framework, a trained instructional coach, and a past participant in the Art of Leadership Institute at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Rabbi Bossewitch also received a specialization in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing a specialization in entrepreneurship from the Wharton Business school. Rabbi Bossewitch is known for his unique style, integrating classical Jewish texts and commentaries with modern theories of educational psychology, behavioral science, and cutting-edge research. He lives in Miami Beach with his wife Shuli and their five children.
