Kosherica is thrilled to pick some of the most exciting itineraries for the summer of 2021. Our mission is to provide our Jewish traveler with the most extraordinary Glatt Kosher culinary experience while exploring the most exciting destinations around the world. Everyone knows when they sail on Kosherica Cruises and Riverboats that they are guaranteed to have a Jewish experience of a lifetime. We know your Jewish summer and winter vacation means the world to you and we take the mission of providing you with the best quality Jewish vacation you could ever experience very seriously. Two of the extremely exciting cruises in 2021 are the ones that are going to the magical land of Iceland, Norway, Scotland, Ireland and England. On August 8, 2021 and August 18, 2021 we are going to be departing from London (specifically Southampton, England) on a magical tour. Will be exploring destinations such as Scotland, Norway, Iceland and Ireland. One thing that we are particularly excited about is that we will be in Reykjavík, Iceland for two days. This will give our kosher guests the chance to explore incredible and fascinating tours. We always recommend going on sites like www.weather.com to get more information about what to bring for each of the excursions. The weather can be absolutely stunning during the summertime, but you may sometimes need a little warmer attire when going near fjords.

Another aspect that we are very excited about is offering our guests a pre-cruise Shabbat in London that will allow you to really experience England for Shabbat and then hop on a bus to Southampton on embarkation day. Our goal with this particular cruise is to give you an in-depth understanding of the Jewish and cultural history of each location. Some locations don’t have an extensive Jewish history so we will explore the natural beauty and dive into what makes these places so magical. We can assure you that you’re going to get an in-depth understanding of the life and energy of each location. Places such as Edinburgh, Scotland have an existing Jewish community. It would be really fun to understand what makes the community tick. Other places such as Bergen, Norway don’t have a very strong Jewish community, but the scenery is some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Much of this part of the world is full of glaciers, steep mountains and grass covered wonderlands. Iceland has become one of the hottest places to visit in the world. And by hot – we mean exciting and adventurous! It is a beautiful country that is unique when it comes to doing things for the first time. The whole country is as diverse as you can imagine. There is incredible volcanic activity, dramatic landscapes, thermal pools and glaciers. One of the most famous things to do in Iceland is visit the Blue Lagoon – it’s one of the most famous geothermal heated pools in the world. You can also do fun things such as whale-watching or watch the sunset from any of these incredible destinations. You can also visit the capital of Reykjavík. On our particular cruise we get two days there! We can explore what makes this such a rich cultural destination. There is so much to do on this cruise. Iceland is just the tip of the iceberg. You can also explore the magical destinations of Ireland, Scotland, England and Norway. We will be exploring that more on the next blog. In the meantime, stay tuned for your next Jewish travel adventure. We are committed to making your Glatt Kosher Cruise vacation a reality.
