Below is a list of must things to do with children near the PGA Resort and Spa on Chol Hamoed Passover. This is just a mini list of all the incredible activities that are near the property. The list could be endless, but we just picked some of our favorite activities for families.

1. Glass Blowing at Benzaiten Center for the Arts. This is a great activity for adults and children. This glassblowing is mind blowing.
2. Paddle the Point is paddle boarding through canals at Jupiter Point.
3. Grassy Waters Environmental Park you can hike or can rent kayaks/canoe for tours.
4. Lighthouse Cove Mini Golf
5. Lion Country Safari
6. Palm Beach Zoo
7. Turtle Rescue/Loggerhead Center
8. Calypso Bay Water Park
9. John MacArthur Beach State Park (kayak rentals, nature walk, beach)
10. Boomers Boca Raton this is outdoor/indoor amusement park…bumper cars, mini golf, rock climbing, etc

Palm Beach is a haven of fun for children. It caters to the most discerning people but also has this wonderful ability to appeal to the simple taste of kids. Fun is always a priority at a place like Palm Beach. To be honest with you most of the time the kids do not even like leaving the property because all they want to do is hang out at the PGA Passover Day camp!

Are you willing to drive a bit for adventure? The adventures are endless especially when you are willing to go a few hours in either direction. If you are looking for absolute beauty you can travel two hours south and head to the keys. Your day will be filled with snorkeling adventures, white sandy beaches, boat rides, exploration of coral reefs, and a completely relaxed environment. You can also travel a couple of hours north and reach Orlando. It’s a bit of a busier atmosphere and if you’re willing to wait in the lines, you’ve got incredible theme parks like Disney world at your fingertips. We tend to not gravitate towards those places because they are always filled with people. However, you’ll still have a great time. If you are looking for something a little bit posher you can take a short drive to the fancy shops in West Palm Beach and explore luxury at its best. It’s like being on Rodeo drive but on the East Coast. You can also explore one of the largest outlet malls on the east coast, Sawgrass Mills. It’s another wonderful adventure for those who are looking for some bargain deals. You can spend an entire day going from shop to shop. It’s that huge.

Miami is also a quick drive south. It’s always fascinating to explore the art deco buildings and beautiful pastels that line Miami streets.

Where to eat post Pesach? For your post Passover stay we always recommend our two favorite restaurants in the world:
– Mendel’s Backyard Barbecue – http://www.backyardbbqmiami.com
– Street Kitchen – https://streetkitchen.miami
Make sure to try and get reservations because they are the hottest restaurants in Florida. Medals is more of a laid-back barbecue place that his finger licking good. Street kitchen is a high-end culinary experience that will blow your mind. Every dish is thoroughly thought out and a combination of ingredients meld perfectly together to form dishes that are out of this world.
