— @NowJewishNanny
Once known as NonJewishNanny, I’ve journeyed from caregiver and opera singer to a proud convert to Orthodox Judaism, sharing my life and love for Yiddishkeit online and in speeches around the world.
I started nannying for Orthodox Jewish families in Boca Raton over five years ago and fell in love first with their children — and eventually with Judaism, as I saw it through the pure and beautiful eyes of my nanny kids.
After years of learning and fighting for this life, I completed my Orthodox Jewish conversion under the RCA on the 11th of Adar, 5785, and I have never been happier stepping into my new life as Adina Shoshana.
The events of October 7, 2023, shook me deeply; they helped me realize that my heart was already bound here. Now, I use my voice to teach, uplift, and inspire — through speeches, posts, and stories.
My hope is that my story encourages anyone who feels distant from Hashem or from their Judaism to once again see the beauty — the same beauty my nanny kids showed me.
I was so honored to experience my first Passover as a Jew with Kosherica last year, and I’m excited to return for a second year.
